Hang-wasp deterrents

There are many different ways in which you can get rid of wasps, including using wasp deterrents. They can be hung around your yard to discourage wasps from building more nests.

These could also include fake wasp nests, which are mainly designed to look like an existing wasp nest and also deter other wasps from entering the area.

Moreover, it is meant to decoy animals and birds, which could also efficiently scare off wasps. If you haven’t tried wasp deterrents so far, here’s what we recommend starting with.

Spray wasp nests

If you find an active wasp nest close to your home, just spray it with some commercially available wasp nest spray. And if you’re looking to get the best results, just put on protective clothing (long sleeves will do) and spray the nest late at night.

During that time, the wasps are sleeping, and you will find both the workers and the queen there. We highly recommend investing in a wasp spray with a long-range spraying nozzle. And if you have to, just spray the nest multiple times over the course of a couple of days.
