Keep a list of your pantry items.

This one is one of those pantry organizing tips that may seem a bit weird but stay with us. Keeping an inventory somewhere—it would be great if you stuck it on the pantry door—is a great way to both keep track of what you buy, how often and when you may run out of certain products, and also make sure that you do not forget to consume the same products before replenishing them.

Inventory is something grocery stores have always done, and it is definitely a move to make when you organize your pantry, as it will help you keep everything in check. And this does not mean that you should always keep inventory, but rather that once a season you should look through what you have, keep track of them, and write them down; that way you will know what you have, what you may need to buy, and you can also use up things before they reach their expiration date if they have one!

Likewise, if you see something that you have kept track of for what seems like forever, but it is always at the back of your shelf, never used, you can always donate to a food bank and make a mental note to not purchase the item again.

Kitchen organizing trends are not the only ones that you need to keep up with so that you can make sure your spaces are as organized and useful as possible. Here are some of the biggest organizing trends that can both bring you some inspiration for your own home and also keep your spaces in tip-top shape!
