Under Sink Storage? Never Store These 6 Items There

#5 Harsh cleaning products and insecticides

Speaking of cleaning products, you should make sure that all your harsh cleaning agents are kept away from your sink cupboard. You may be thinking that this is counterintuitive since you would want all your cleaning products in one place for easy access, but keeping these with the rest in an easy-to-access place by kids and pets can become very dangerous, very fast.

Solutions like bleach and other powerful cleaning solutions are better kept in a higher cupboard or out of reach of both pets and children, so you can avoid any unforeseen circumstances in which they will get into them and get poisoned. You may be thinking that the kids in your family do not go through cupboards, but you never know when you will have guests with children around.

Not to mention, some animals absorb moisture through their paw pads, and if they go into the cupboard and walk through spilled chemicals, they can get very sick very fast.

We are also including things like bug sprays, insecticides, and other obvious poisonous solutions to be kept separately as well. It is better to err on the side of caution than to risk any harm to anyone, be they family members or furry friends!

No matter if we are talking sink cupboards, pantries, or even countertops, it is good to have things well organized. We recommend you look into using some wire baskets to make your organizing life easier!
