2. Plant pungent perennials

There are some plants that attract deer like a magnet, while others make them run away as fast as possible. Experts say these wild animals rely a lot on their smell to guide them to their next meal, but there are some scents and textures that they can’t stand.

This means that you can keep Bambi away from your home by planting some varieties that they don’t like, such as rosemary, lamb’s ear, yarrow, chives, lavender, oriental poppy, garlic, mint, and Russian sage.

They don’t enjoy very strong odors and scents, and besides that, the powerful aromas of these plants might also mask the delicious perfume of the others, so this is definitely a tip you should try.
