HVAC System Problems

And since we talked about the number one most problematic issue you could have when it comes to a home inspection, we should also discuss the second one, which is your HVAC system. They are not as pricey as roofs are when it comes to repairing or replacing them, but they are still some of the most expensive things in your home that could set you back a pretty sum of money. Certain HVAC systems can cost even more than $5,000 if you end up needing to replace them, and it is not a fun surprise to have to suddenly do it after a home inspection.

Home inspections will generally consist of how well the AC system is working, especially when it comes to its cooling settings, and they will be looking for a difference that is between 14 and 24 degrees, which represents the difference between the air going into the unit when compared to the one coming out of it. Other issues that you should fix before the inspector comes over include condensation issues, leaks, mold, and any other issues relating to this problem.
