Kitchen trend #2: Have You Heard of Japandi Yet?

There is a high chance you have heard about Japandi already. But if you haven’t and you’re trying to find a way to design your kitchen or even remodel it, it could be one of the more prominent contestants for a style. Thought to be one of the leading kitchen trends of the year to come, Japandi has started to gain traction this year and is only thought to become more and more popular.

What is it more specifically? Japandi is a fusion between the Scandinavian and Japanese styles, taking the best of both worlds and fusing them together to make a type of kitchen that has the Japanese style and functionality, as well as the comfortable Scandinavian design!

It is all about using natural materials and incorporating calm and relaxation into your space, including the kitchen. This means using natural and earthy textures and tones, as well as striving to create a calm and cozy environment.

Another thing that you can take from the Japanese trends and add to your own space is to use a lot of house plants, each of which is appropriate for the room you are in. This will both bring more life to your spaces (yes, kitchen included!) and increase the level of oxygen you get.

Not to mention, the aesthetics are amazing!
