Neurotic personality wall colors

If this personality type describes you, then you are most likely prone to feeling anxiety and stress more intensely than other personality types. The best colors for people who have this personality type should opt for soothing wall colors so that they can feel at ease in their home, which is their safe haven.

The best paint colors include those with cool undertones and hues that can end up evoking the calmness that they need. This also includes greens and blues that have a natural cool undertone, which will have that calm feeling and not bother the neurotic personalities of these people.

Other types of tones, despite the person liking the color, can end up making them hyper-fixated on it, which will have the opposite effect of finding a color that will help them feel at ease and calm in their home.

If you want to see how certain colors may look in your home but do not want to buy buckets of paint you will not use, make sure you invest in paint swatches! You can individually get them from some hardware store, or you can get the full pallet from your choice of paint brand on Amazon. Here is one of our favorite extensive ones!
