7 Big House Sounds That Could Cost You Dearly

#7 Whistling sound from the furnace?

This one, thankfully, is pretty easy to solve when it comes to worrying sounds coming from around your house. The reason why this is happening may just be that you haven’t changed your furnace filter in a while, and it is filthy. When the furnace is trying to suck air through it and it cannot, the sounds it’s going to make should worry you.

That sucking whistle-like sound means it is working too much, and it can soon start blowing exhaust gases from the furnace into your home instead of the other way around.

To avoid this, put on your working gloves and get to work changing your furnace filter. It is pretty easy to do, and you should do this every three months, depending on the atmospheric conditions in your house and state.

If your issue has not been on our list, do not worry! Read all about the possible electrical issues you may be having around your house without your knowledge here!
