1. Natural vanity
I noticed that since COVID-19 entered our world, people have started to go back to their roots and embrace nature again. They let go of over-the-top trends and went back to simple and classic designs.
2023 is just like that. Designers love the look of nature, and they want to bring it into people’s homes as well. Speaking of that, wood is back in style and is prettier than it ever was.
Experts say that after many years of gray or white painted vanities being the norm in bathrooms, it’s time to embrace the use of natural wood cabinetry in bathrooms.
Wood offers warmth and an organic element that a painted finish lacks, and it creates a rich and more complex material palette for a restroom. It will make you so much happier when you do your hair, put on makeup, or shave your beard.
…TIP: The key to making your wood cabinetry look fresh and modern is to keep your door style simple and clean!

I certainly hope these are not indicative of the new bathroom styles. These are all too sterile and uninviting. They scream, “Don’t touch!” Can you imagine these same photos after everyone used the bathroom? Where does one store one’s things? Can you imagine children using these spaces, spilling water on the perfect floors, messing up the perfect counters, wet towels lying around, etc.? No thanks. Way too minimalist and cold for me – I prefer to live in a home, not a museum.
I like warm and natural colors. If we keep things too simplistic it looks sterile. Giving a feature wall in something natural is fine but don’t overwhelm a smaller sized room with too much color. A bathroom is to remain tranquil.
