If your living room features large south-facing windows, consider installing UV-blocking window films or utilizing solar shades during peak afternoon hours. Keep a small, airtight jar of both paint colors stored in a cool, dry utility room. Having these exact batches on hand allows you to seamlessly touch up nail holes or furniture scrapes without returning to the hardware store for a potentially mismatched color sample.
