6 Subtle Signs Your House Has a HUGE Problem

5. Your floor is tilted

It might not be so easy to notice that your floor is titled unless you drop something and it rolls to one side of your floor, or maybe you spill some water and it seems to run to the same spot.

Or maybe you’re one of those people who’s always trying to see if things around their home are symmetrical and in their place (my husband is like that), which is totally fine.

If your floor was totally fine and suddenly it developed a slant, it could actually hide a problem, meaning that one or more of its joints that back it up have been putrid or crippled. That could easily cause your floor to settle in a particular area.

If your floor isn’t in the best shape, you should call a structural engineer ASAP because you don’t want this issue to turn into a huge problem. An expert could also give you a few tips on how to repair it, so give them a call.
