6 Plant-Destroying Habits You Should Stop Repeating

2. Underwatering

Well, if you don’t give a lot of water to your plant, you probably let it dry and become thirsty, and that’s another plant-destroying habit you need to get out of your system.

If you’re a busy person and you rarely take notice of the things that happen around you, there’s a slight chance that you might be guilty of this plant-destroying habit. Your plants will send off different signals to show you that they’re thirsty and need some hydration: their leaves are yellow and crisp, and the soil is as dry as the Sahara.

Don’t forget that if you want to go on vacation for a while and your plants will be at home, you won’t find them happy and thriving if you overwater them before you go. In this case, it might be best to talk to a neighbor or a relative and ask them to take care of your plants while you’re gone.
