9 Best Indoor Plants to Kill Airborne Viruses and Bacteria

7. Crispy Wave Fern

This indoor fern is a type of Asplenium plant that not only looks lovely but cleans your interior air too! The wavy leaves of crispy wave fern enhance the surface area, making it an excellent air-purifying plant.

It’s quite effective at converting CO2 into oxygen while also being capable of removing airborne viruses and bacteria from the air. The fronds’ rigidity and thickness allow this houseplant to filter harmful pollutants such as formaldehyde from the indoor space to a higher degree than many other plants.

Thanks to its adaptability and hardiness, the crispy wave can work as a natural air purifier for a very long time and stay green longer than any other potted plant.
