To create a curvy top edge, use your mirror to inspire the outline of your design. Cut the shape from kraft paper and test the look. Tape the pattern on the decorative paper, which you’ve applied to the wall.
Use a craft knife to cut around the template and peel away the paper above the cut.
Weekend Project: Hang Some New Curtains
Another easy way to enhance your home is by hanging some new curtains in your spaces. Pick out a favorite color and pattern. But make sure you go for an extended length.

This includes taping around your windows and cutting in around the ceiling. Remember this when figuring out the time this project will take.
Weekend Project: Patch Up Those Holes In Your Walls
Whether an arranging project went wrong or you’re tired of looking at holes you’ve left around the house, concealing your wall blemishes is a weekend-worthy project.
You can quickly repair nail holes and other minor imperfections using a putty knife and surfacing compound. For larger holes, though, place an adhesive patch over the area and spread an all-purpose drywall compound over it with a trowel.
Depending on the dimensions of the holes, you might need to let the mixture dry overnight. Then, just paint over the patch when it’s dry.
Weekend Project: Replace Your Old Showerhead
You can quickly give a boring bath a spa-like look just by putting in a rain shower head. A bonus? You’ll cut down on your water usage with a more efficient model. But before installing the new head, you’ll need some plumber’s tape to wrap the threads.
