Add moldings

We can’t deny the fact that adding moldings to your home is probably much easier and more affordable than other options, especially when it comes to upgrading your home into something more luxurious. However, if there is one thing that many people forget, it is that before you start slapping up a couple of molds, you should really take into consideration the current style of your home and what furniture you already have.

Because if you go for a more ornate and intricate choice, it might not fit that well in a contemporary building. You always have to go for something cleaner and more modern because you don’t want to recreate 70-year-old fashion.

Add wall treatments.

Very similar to adding molds, adding one or two architectural interests to your walls might make the biggest difference, especially when it comes to the look and feel of the room. Sometimes, something classic, like adding shiplap, beadboard, or even a wood slat wall, might drastically change the space from plain and boring to dimensional and intriguing.

And if that’s not something you want to take into consideration, you might as well just use wallpaper. You might even notice that walls with bold patterns might have an upscale look, so if you are looking to give your room a major facelift, then wallpaper is definitely a good place to start.
