#4 The best vegetable? Garlic

Since you have to harvest the plant completely, a lot of people plant garlic as an annual plant, removing all their harvest when it’s ready. However, you should also consider leaving a few of the bulbs in the soil so you can turn them into perennial ones as well!

Over the seasons, the bulbs are going to multiply on their own, and then you will have a lot of tiny bulbs on your hands, along with garlic scapes (which you can use to make some delicious dishes as well). Those small bulbs can then be divided and planted again, so you can keep your harvest going and coming easily without many headaches!
