Then keep reading, and let’s discover these bedroom design trends that will be big in 2024!

1. Eclectic pillows and bedding

This is one of the easiest bedroom design trends to incorporate in your home, and I’m pretty sure you’ll love the way it looks. A pop of color never hurts anybody, and adding some new shades to your bedding and pillows can make a big difference.

Who said that you needed to perfectly match the shades? Go crazy, combine all of those crazy colors you might like, and you’ll transform your bedroom. Get some yellow pillowcases and a pink bedding set, and you’ll have a ray of sunshine in your home. Or go for a baby blue shade for your bedding and put some midnight cases on your fluffy pillows to create an aquatic feeling and dimension.

This bedroom design trend is fun, accessible for any budget, and can be created with things you already have at home. PS: If you’re looking for some amazing throw pillows that will beautify your room in just a second, check these out!

You’re going to love these stylish but easy-to-incorporate bedroom design trends!

2. Mismatched furniture

If you love sets, this new bedroom design trend might not be your cup of tea, but if you like multitasking in your bedroom, you should consider it. Working from home or doing your makeup in the bedroom seems like a luxury experience, so why not make room for these activities?

You could easily add a tiny vanity or a small desk next to your bed or in a corner of your bedroom. It doesn’t matter if the colors or textures don’t match, because that’s exactly the point: bringing more details into your bedroom and giving it a unique look and feel.

Do you plan on adding any of these new bedroom design trends to your home decor?

3. Allover prints

Oh yes, there’s nothing a goofy old wallpaper can’t do, especially when it comes to this new bedroom design trend. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved the look of a simple, flowall wallpaper in my room, so if you’re into this too, matching your fabrics to your wallpaper will make your bedroom look stylish and flirty.

The overall look will feel cozy, luxurious, and warm, and it will make you feel like you’re in a fancy hotel. You don’t have to make the idiosyncrasies in your room, like a slanted ceiling or uncentered or asymmetrical windows, to achieve the result you want. Take this bedroom design trend to the next level by incorporating the pattern into your bedding. Sleep tight, because you’ll love it.

4. Romantic accents

Let’s bring that romance back because it’s going to be huge in 2024! It’s all about how you feel, so since your bedroom is the place where you can have fun with your partner, why not take it up a notch?

Bedding with texture, depth, and fun is swiftly regaining popularity as opposed to the rigid, hotel-like sheets that have been ruling the bedding market lately. The use of textured bedding—from pleats and ruffles to tufted and quilted patterns—has grown in popularity, and it looks amazing in every bedroom.

5. Drapery and florals

What do you think about florals and drapery? Experts say that these new bedroom design trends look fabulous and are gaining more and more popularity across the globe. Speaking of that, you can embrace this new style by investing in floral draperies and wallpaper on furniture and windows.

Of course, you don’t have to go all out to achieve this look; you can simply use some accents to create the desired look, such as adding slipcovers for the headboard and bed skirt to make it simple and pretty.

The wallpaper is here to stay, and if you want some lovely flowers in your bedroom, add a vibrant print, and you’ll never wake up on the wrong side of the bed again. However, this aesthetic isn’t for everyone, especially not for someone who loves minimalistic looks; their motto is more; less is a bore, but if this is your vibe, you should go for it.

6. More moiré

This one might not seem like one of the coziest bedroom design trends, but it will surprise you because it looks amazing. Experts say that a moiré bedding set can add interest and texture to any room, especially a rather boring one.

If you’re into this style, you can go all out, because the more, the merrier. Add it to cushions, draperies, and even as a lining for case goods. Without using an excessive amount of color contrast, moiré silk creates a rich impression of depth and movement, and it will make your bedroom look like no other.

7. Cozy bedding

Is there something prettier and more welcoming than cozy bedding that invites you to relax and have a good night’s sleep? I don’t think so. This next bedroom design trend is all about fuss-free elements that add richness and coziness to any area. Interior designers adore the way soft, relaxing neutral-colored linen sheets and duvets look.

If you take this style to the next level and snuggle your pillows under the large, draped linen coverlets, the effect is subtle, beautiful, warm, and welcoming. You’d better believe that your bedroom will be magazine-worthy thanks to this simple trend. Don’t forget to pick the colors that make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated and choose a fabric that feels luxurious and soft to the touch and that is also easy to clean.
