With the turn of the calendar page, my thoughts have turned to the newest and best bathroom design for the next year. Because of the constraints of restroom space, you might try out bold wallpaper or the latest cabinetry style without completely overwhelming the area.
I’m passionate about design, but I’m not an expert, so I talked to a few professionals about this year’s trends. Maybe I’ll give my own lavatory a makeover; who knows?
All of these suggestions, from the most minimal to the most extensive, are certain to breathe new life into your bathroom’s aesthetic. I’m going to stop rambling now and actually get into our topic for today. Let’s begin!

I certainly hope these are not indicative of the new bathroom styles. These are all too sterile and uninviting. They scream, “Don’t touch!” Can you imagine these same photos after everyone used the bathroom? Where does one store one’s things? Can you imagine children using these spaces, spilling water on the perfect floors, messing up the perfect counters, wet towels lying around, etc.? No thanks. Way too minimalist and cold for me – I prefer to live in a home, not a museum.
I like warm and natural colors. If we keep things too simplistic it looks sterile. Giving a feature wall in something natural is fine but don’t overwhelm a smaller sized room with too much color. A bathroom is to remain tranquil.
