1. You have far too many enormous pieces of furniture
According to designer Michelle Lisac, a lot of her clients have a bad tendency to add too many voluminous pieces of furniture to their living rooms. She said that you don’t need the whole set of furniture, such as the sofa, the coffee table, the loveseat, and the chairs. If you add all of them, your room will look cramped and claustrophobic.
Instead of cramming it all in one place, Lisac recommends picking one or two objects that you like the most and using those only. This way, the place is going to look bigger and cleaner.

I have never heard of scones lighting before. I am assuming you mean sconses. Found most everything interesting though.
Kitchen flooring. Vinyl or tile??
What a good variety of ideas.
I hadn’t really realized I had a themed living room. I thought SW, but it’s more AmerIndian. Plans to change it out slightly.
The first 3 ideas are the ones I’ll be implementing first. I never think I have enough pillows. They and my artwork are the “color” in the living room. But, I’ve noticed my guests always moving them off of the furniture.
You hit on the things that I’ve been taking for granted/not noticing.
Thank you.
I liked the tips, especially about furniture proportions and lighting. Thanks.
