9 Low-Light Loving Plants for Beautiful Decor

ZZ Plant, low-light

#6 ZZ Plant

The ZZ plant is actually a tropical plant, yet it does not resemble most of its relatives when it comes to the conditions it needs in order to thrive. First of all, it is actually on the opposite end of the lamp spectrum when it comes to getting light: most tropical plants love bright, indirect lighting, but the ZZ plant is actually extremely forgiving, being able to thrive even in low light!

This is an excellent room decoration for any office or other rooms in your home that may receive little light! What’s more, some have said that it can still live fine with mostly artificial light, so we doubt you can do much damage to this amazing plant that can brighten up even the dimmest rooms.

I wish you would include if the plants you mention are toxic if eaten by my cat.

The plants you show in your Shutterstock photo are definitely not low light plants! I know as I am a retired Florist/gardener! Notice your site often contains phony material!
