#5 Pumpkins, but make them shadowboxes!
Take your pumpkin display to the next level by getting creative and turning them into spooky shadowboxes!
Materials:
- hollowed out craft pumpkins or normal craft pumpkins
- card stock
- electric tea lights
- scissors
- popsicle sticks
- clay or hot glue
Instructions:
No need to panic, while it may seem like a complicated craft, it’s not at the end of the day. After you’ve got your pumpkin carved out to the size you desire, take your cardstock and draw on your design. If you’re not that creative, you can also take inspiration from the internet.
Cut the shape out and then glue it to the base of your pumpkin, or make it out of clay. When cutting the shape out, keep in mind that you will need to attach it to your pumpkin; you can leave a small band down for easier attachment. Also, make sure you do this far enough in the front to put your candlelight in the back. Then it’s all good to be displayed!
Using electric ones will make it safer to leave outside, and you will know the light will not go out!
