#5 Scratching sounds behind the walls?
If you hear chittering or scratching strange noises around your house that you are sure your pet is not causing or that you aren’t hearing things, then it is (most probably) not ghosts. But rather, you may have some new housemates that you did not know about, and you should look into getting them out as soon as possible. It could be anything from mice to rats, from raccoons to squirrels, and even bats!
It may sound like an annoyance, but some of these pests carry rabies and other viruses and bacteria that can be deadly, not to mention the other house issues they could cause (rats are known to accidentally cause fires because they’re eating away at your electrical cords).
The best way to get rid of these intruders is to first figure out what type of pest it is and then install some traps or repelling systems to catch them or drive them out. Then you should figure out how they got inside and make sure they don’t come back. If the situation doesn’t get better, then you should call pest control so they can come up with more professional ways of getting rid of your new housemates.
