Liquid soap recipe

You will need about four ounces of soap shavings, so make sure you have enough. Shave them using the grater while you wait for four cups of water to heat up.

Once the water is boiling and off the heat, mix your shavings with the boiling water, stirring until all the soap has dissolved.

Wait until the mixture has dissolved completely, and then pour it into your dispensers! And just like that, you have made your own liquid soap! If you have too much, make sure you store it in a cool place and shake well before you use it.

If you do not have four ounces of soap on hand but you want to try it out, make sure you keep the ratio, and it should work out. For each ounce of soap, you will need one cup of boiling water.

Happy DIY-ing!
