The all-white kitchen

Indeed, white is a color that makes every space seem cleaner, brighter, and maybe even more spacious. But at the same time, it can make it look sterile, especially if you are using white for everything, from the walls to the cupboards and countertops. The all-white aesthetic is among the overdone kitchen trends, and you should let it go.

A kitchen that has only one color, in this case white, might seem boring and also lack personality. Try to refresh the space and opt for some contrasting colors or tones. Painting the kitchen island or cabinets in a shade of gray or navy blue can add depth and interest, breaking up all of that white and creating focal points within the kitchen.

This can completely change the way your kitchen looks and elevate your space in no time.

Improper light fixtures

What is the first thing you notice when you enter a room? For many, it’s the lights, and if they are not carefully chosen, this can totally create an unbalanced space that everyone will notice.

The right lighting can transform the ambiance, making the kitchen feel inviting and stylish. If you want strong lights, be aware that this is one of the overdone kitchen trends. Dim lights are the new trend, and believe us when we tell you that there is a way to combine strong lights and dim lights so you can get the perfect balance that you need.

After all, the kitchen is a space where you prepare food. This means light is essential, but you don’t always need that light. So, a well-lit kitchen is a user-friendly kitchen.

For the times when you are in the kitchen without cooking, you might want to not use the strong lights, and because of this, you can add more light fixtures. The overhead lights should be the bright ones, and you can add wall light fixtures or lamps to create a cozy atmosphere.
