Closed-off cabinetry

Just try to have this image in your mind for a couple of seconds and try to see where it takes you. It’s probably an old kitchen; maybe reinstall the one from the house you grew up in, right?

We don’t want this anymore because it’s one of the overdone kitchen trends, and instead of this, we need space. Again, the space you have in your kitchen is a big theme, and closed-off cabinetry does exactly the opposite. Maybe you have space inside the cabinets, but from the outside, the whole place will look cramped.

If you want to ditch the overdone kitchen trends and create a more spacious, airy, and inviting kitchen, then open shelving is the way to go. This is the simplest method to achieve this and is very versatile, letting you take advantage of this and display your favorite dishes, glassware, or decorative pieces, giving the space a more personal touch.

This is more than just about storage! Is a trend that makes your kitchen a modern and warm space that is ready to welcome any visitor.

Subway tiles

Ok, they’ve been a staple in kitchen design, but now they are part of the overdone kitchen trends that make your space look old and dusty. People are focusing on decorative tiles because they want a visually appealing space that has its own story.

The good old subway tiles don’t look like they can tell a story about you and your life, and this is why you can try to choose something more distinctive.

Patterns, bold colors, or unique textures—this is what we are talking about! The overdone kitchen trends are just holding back all the creativity. Tiles can act as focal points, and this can add that flair you feel is missing from your kitchen.
