Mugs

Do you have a ton of old coffee mugs just gathering dust in the back of a cabinet somewhere? You can clean them and repurpose them as modern decorations.

Professional organizers say that they can become your new pen holder, or you can even use them as little pots for some herbs. So effortless, anyone can do it!

Expensive Items

If you’re clearing out items that have a high value, professional organizers say that you should think twice before throwing them away. And if you’re unsure of the value of something, just keep it. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Try having it appraised or just glanced over if you suspect it might be expensive to replace. Go through the easy stuff first, and then take your time to review the more valuable or essential items. You’ll likely still have decluttering to do here.

But don’t get tricked into thinking you must keep something simply because it was expensive or has sentimental value.
