7. Shower door track
Another one of the things you don’t clean enough is your shower door track. Perfectly washing your glass shower door is useful, but the sad thing is that, for the most part, people tend to focus more on the glass.
But here’s the thing: the track that the doors run on is an often overlooked slot that gathers soap scum, hard water deposits, and mildew. You should clean this each time you see buildup, or feel the door catching, or once a month.
Grab some distilled white vinegar and microwave it for 30 to 45 seconds. Dip some paper towels in vinegar and place them in the tracks. Make sure you wear rubber gloves.
Let them work their magic for 30 to 60 minutes, then take a moist sponge and carefully scrape the track and glass, then rinse with distilled water.
If your glass is also in desperate need of cleaning, simply slap the paper towels on the door and spray the glass on a regular basis to keep things moist.
