5. Pillows
There’s no doubt that you wash your pillowcases and sheets, but what about your actual pillows? When was the last time you put them in the wash? If you can’t remember that, it might be a sign that they’re part of the things you don’t clean enough.
I don’t like to say this, but your pillows can collect a lot of bacteria and dust, and if you sweat in your sleep, that can give your pillow a weird smell and even more microbes.
Take a look at your pillows to see if they can be washed in your washing machine or if you need to hand wash them. Don’t worry; if the second option is what you have to do, fill your bathtub with some detergent and warm water, drown them in, squeeze, rinse, and you’re done.
Repeat the process every three months, and you’ll notice that you’ll breathe better and you’ll feel better now that you don’t have any dust sites, body oils, or microbes on your comfy pillows.
Can you guess what other things you don’t clean enough at home?
