Lawn Care Tip: Embrace SOME Weeds
Let’s be honest: A huge pet peeve we probably ALL share is seeing those nasty weeds sprout in different areas of our yards.
But while we tend to evict them from our lawns the minute they appear, some weeds are good for your grass and can help cut down expenses or the need for all that added maintenance.
For example, dandelions have deep taproots that help bring calcium into your grass and bring it to the surface. In contrast, clovers have bacteria and fungi on their roots reliable for taking nitrogen from the air and feeding it into the soil.
We recommend preserving these weeds for long-term benefits.
