8 Plants You Don’t Need to Water to Thrive

5. Snake plant

If you’re a forgetful type of person, you can easily buy a snake plant because, besides being cute and suitable for every type of room decoration, it can live happily without watering too often. Even if they love bathing in the sunlight, they can also put up with low light pretty well; in fact, it’s recommended to keep them away from the scorching sun during the summer, especially if you live in the southern part of the country where summers are extremely hot.

A healthy snake plant will always have strong and lively green-colored leaves that stand upright. It’s true that some species also have curving leaves, but if it’s a healthy and hydrated plant, it will never sag.
