4. Pothos

Are you a first-time plant parent and don’t know where to start? Don’t worry, because I have the perfect suggestion for you: the pothos plant. Why? Because it’s one of the plants that require the minimum effort to grow bigger and healthier. You must water your pothos every 2 weeks only after you have checked the soil.

How can you figure out if your plant is overwatered? Take a closer look at its leaves. A drowned pothos has yellow leaves and black stems, while one with dry soil will droop. These plants aren’t that pretentious, and they deal very well with low light, so don’t worry if your house doesn’t have big windows. Your pothos will be happy anyway!
