9. ZZ Plant
What’s interesting about ZZ plants (also known as Zamioculcas) is that they seem to always put out new leaves. Not to mention that they are easy plants to take care of.
These indoor plants have a tuber-like rhizome found at the base of each stem (that’s where the roots grow). If you want to propagate your ZZ plant, you’ll have to take a stem cutting and put it in water. Make sure you keep the container in a sunny location. It takes about 3–4 weeks for the stem to produce a new rhizome at its base and start growing roots.
Once you’ve got a new bulbous rhizome on the bottom of the cutting and the small roots are over an inch long, your new ZZ plant is ready to be placed in a well-draining potting mix.
