Lemongrass can make a fantastic flea-repelling dog rinse. While you shouldn’t feed your dog large quantities of lemongrass because it can lead to health issues like any other grass, it’s relatively safe to use around and ON your dog.
A good way to do this is to boil a handful of lemongrass in a couple of cups of water and let it steep until the water cools. Strain the mixture and use it as a spray or rinse after giving your dog a bath.
Not only will the lemongrass rinse smell incredible it will also help repel insects for a couple of days.
