Do you know what are the best places to buy furniture?

If you choose wisely, your gorgeous furniture pieces could last you many years. Whether you’re searching for a cozy couch to round off your living room or a fashionable yet robust bed frame to serve as the focal point of your bedroom, there are plenty of options available.

I love everything about home decor, especially choosing the right furniture pieces for a house or a chic apartment. I think these necessary and beautiful pieces are the ones that give your home personality and warmth. I made it my mission to search different places to buy furniture, and I think I found the best ones.

Whether you’re shopping in person or online, you want to know that you’ll be getting a high-quality product at a reasonable cost. Don’t worry, I’ve got you! These places offer great options for every budget, as well as a service-oriented team to help you along the way.

This translates to welcoming and informed personnel in-store, an abundance of samples for you to try on or sit on, and transparent delivery and return policies that give you peace of mind when making a purchase.

But if you want to do your shopping online, these shops are great because they offer free swatches, easy, cost-effective delivery, measuring or shopping guides, and free returns. So, without further ado, here are the best places to buy furniture!

Ready to give your home a personality makeover? Then grab your credit carb, because the furniture pieces in these stores will beg you to take them home!

1. Wayfair

One of the best places to buy furniture is Wayfair, where you can find stunning pieces for every room in your home. Whether you’re looking for incredible sectionals, dining sets, couches, and everything in between, you won’t go wrong with this store.

What I love about this shop is the fact that they have free shipping options for orders over $35, and their pieces are pretty affordable too. You can take a look at their ready-to-ship items, and if you don’t like the offer, you can ask them to build a customized piece for you.

Even though this is a one-stop furniture shop, the sad thing is that they don’t carry a large section for kids’ furniture. But don’t neglect this one, because their furniture pieces are stunning!

  • Return window: 30 days;
  • Return policy: free;
  • Payment options: financing available;
  • Shipping time: 2-day shipping on several items.

2. Burrow

If you want comfortable modular pieces, one of the best places to buy furniture is Burrow. This company specializes in making fashionable and useful coffee tables, shelving units, and couches, but they also have lovely rugs, lighting fixtures, and accessories.

When it comes to item selection and versatility, modular seating solutions are superior because you can rearrange them to suit your changing demands. Keep in mind that you’ll need to buy an extra set of arms or a corner piece to make the conversion possible, but the simple change of design and the freedom to rearrange the use of your existing furniture will be worth it.

One thing I don’t like about this shop is their limited styles, but the ones available are impressive. Other great things about Burrow are free shipping, easy-to-move pieces, and great styles that add both functionality and dimension to any room.

  • Return window: 30 days;
  • Return policy: there’s a return fee of up to 20% of the product;
  • Payment options: financing available;
  • Shipping time: 1 to 4 weeks, depending on your purchase.

3. Amazon

If you’ve read any of our articles, you know we’re big fans of Amazon, which, in my opinion, is also one of the best places to buy furniture, especially if you have a tight budget. Whatever style, piece, or color you need, this retailer will quickly ship the desired piece to your door. Even though there are lots of items available, remember that you might not find many products made of premium materials like leather or solid hardwoods.

Amazon is a terrific place to look for complementary furniture pieces to furnish your home office or finish a guest room. You can find many furniture options, like coffee tables, workstations, headboards, and futons. On the other hand, larger pieces, such as entertainment centers or sectional sofas, are harder to come by but are still available if you browse the site’s inventory.

If you want to give life to your living room, garden, entryway, or hallway, I recommend you add a rocking chair. It’s nice, comfy, and cozy, and it will help you relax after a long day. I have one at home and is my favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

  • Return window: it depends on the retailer;
  • Return policy: free;
  • Payment options: no financing;
  • Shipping time: next-day shipping is available for several items.

4. The Home Depot

The Home Depot is another great place to buy furniture, so if you want something traditional, modern, or contemporary, this is the place for you. You can find lots of styles and colors for your bedroom, dining room, home office, or living room, among other spaces. The Home Decorators Collection, an in-house brand of Home Depot, is widely preferred across all product categories.

However, you’ll also find merchandise from home furnishings shops like StyleCraft, Safavieh, Noble House, and Serta. Unfortunately, anything other than patio furniture is hard to find in-store, but you can order online and have free delivery sent to your house or a nearby Home Depot location.

  • Return window: 30 days;
  • Return policy: free;
  • Payment options: financing available;
  • Shipping time: 2 to 4 weeks.

5. Serena & Lily

Any home can become brighter and cozier with Serena & Lily’s coastal and modern design elements. If you’re looking for stunning furniture pieces that will bring warmth and elegance to your home, this is one of the best places to buy furniture.

You can find anything you want there, from modular sectionals, coffee tables, bookshelves, and nursery decor to even outdoor lounge furniture. They will give your home a casual yet elegant touch, perfect for those who want to feel like they’re living in an exquisite place.

Even though Serena & Lily’s color scheme is primarily neutral, they love to incorporate colorful flashes of color and bohemian accents that go perfectly together. The best part about these pieces is that they’re made of high-quality materials, including brass finishes, handwoven rattan, and marble.

  • Return window: 30 days;
  • Return policy: 15% restocking fee;
  • Payment options: financing available;
  • Shipping time: 2 to 3 weeks.
