#7 Boo bottles: perfect Halloween glasses

Who said you have to spend a ton of money for fun glassware for your Halloween party? Even if you aren’t throwing a party, these would still be fun to use for dinner on Halloween! The materials you need are very few, and the effect will be extremely appreciated by everyone around the house!

Materials:

  • any empty glass bottles you have around the house
  • white paint or spray paint
  • paintbrush (if needed)
  • black paint or marker
  • some straws

Instructions:

These glass ghosts are easy to make, especially if you’re in the habit of recycling glass bottles. After you remove all the caps and labels and have cleaned the bottles, you have to paint the bottles white. Make sure your paint coats are even and that the color is opaque. After the bottles dry, use some black paint or a marker to draw on the spooky ghost faces.

If you’re worried about not getting them right, you can always sketch the shape out with a pencil or research the faces on the internet for some of the easiest ones to draw. After that, they are done! All you need are the straws, so no one accidentally drinks paint, and you’re good to go! And you can reuse them next year too!
