Kitchen trend #3: Add in Some Metallics!

Another kitchen trend that has been starting to gain traction in the last few years is metallics. Sure, we have seen a lot of pictures and handles that have metallic finishes, but it has now evolved to even include splashbacks and gone as far as using metallic colors on your furniture. These features are going to attract attention, and you do not have to give in and add too many of them if they’re not your style. However, as far as kitchen trends go for 2023, they will make your kitchen stand out more.

And do not think that you have to paint your whole kitchen in some gaudy metallic gold color. This is not what we mean. But using metallics here and there will go well against light colors (and even some darker ones) and make everything stand out more in your design. Be it that you add some nickel, copper, or chrome colors for your hands or add some of these to the backsplash, they are going to be a complementary choice rather than an overwhelming one.

And before you commit to one color or you start changing the handles on all your cabinets, make sure you look at all the metallics available to you! As it seems, the trends are changing and moving away from all the shiny, flashy ones towards more muted metallics such as copper, brushed brass, and even pewter!
