Kitchen trend #1: Timber Colours!

You probably have seen this kitchen trend starting to emerge in the last few years, but it is expected to truly take over the industry in 2023. The trend has started to be all about embracing nature and not shying away from natural materials, which automatically brings in a love for and influx of timber colors and tones that are bound to make your kitchens look more and more homey!

Sure, some people are definitely inclined to strive towards a more industrial style that favors cleans lines and darker tones, cement greys and metallics, but a lot of others are going to gravitate towards the timbers. Oak in particular is thought to be the winning tone of 2023, and the combinations of different wood textures and the fun color stories you can create will work amazingly in kitchens.

All of this will also leave you space to mix them with other materials and finishes, as they will work great with granites, marbles, and other worktop surfaces that will complement the timber. Not to mention that the natural colors of the wood will bring out the subtle pinks, blues, and greens that you could have in the worktop as well.

It’s a great way to bring a pop of color into your kitchen without having to change a whole color scheme and not even needing to introduce a pop of color, leaving everything to the warmth of the wood, which will be complimented by a neutral wall!
