10. Letting Your Faucet Drip

The sound of running water may be relaxing, but it may come together with the sound of cash leaving your pocket. If one of your taps seems to drip even after turning it off, don’t ignore the issue. Try to turn off the water valve to see if it’s still dripping.

If the problem doesn’t go away, you should call a plumber. It’s important to do that, as leaks can cause both extensive and expensive water damage. For instance, the average price for this kind of plumbing issue is $400.

Water issues can also cause mold and lead to other structural damage.
