When Should You Remove Mold From Inside Your Walls

Recognizing and repairing the source of condensation in the walls is the most crucial element of removing mold. Familiar sources include leaky ceilings, indoor condensation, elevated indoor humidity, and outdoor leakage from your drainpipes or gutters.

Unlike some other kinds of wear and tear around your home, there’s no acceptable level of mold in your walls, and you must get the issue fixed as soon as possible. Once you find mold, the best thing you can do is open up the walls and remove it.

Living with it in your home is dangerous because it can spread and affect your health and further damage your home. The longer you wait, the longer it has to grow, and the situation will only get worse.
