We all wish for a beautiful kitchen design with stylish colors and elegant finishes. But a kitchen has to be one thing above all else: FUNCTIONAL! It’s where you cook, clean, plan, and spend time with your beloved family.

Now, kitchen design needs differ from family to family. And while you can fix some problems on your own, others might require professional help. Expert designers can be hired to understand how you currently use your kitchen and how you wish to remodel it.

    What about UNDER the sink for trash and recycling? I designed kitchens for years, and the space under the sink is not desirable for food or appliance storage, so use it for trash and garbage. As usual, my sink has two doors beneath it. I mounted a bin to the inside of one door to hold a trash bag, and a pull-out bin behind the other door for recycling.
