6 Wild Animals Most Likely to Invade Your Backyard

2. Feisty foxes

No. 2 on the list of animals that may invade your backyard are foxes. Though these feisty creatures are usually pretty wary of people, the temptation of easily accessible food found in neighborhoods is what makes them invade our homes.

Garbage, pet food, and other food sources are a serious draw for foxes. So, it’s not uncommon for these adorable animals to be regularly sighted near US houses.

Though they won’t normally mess with full-grown pets, you should keep very small pets (usually less than 5 pounds) away from these sly animals. In fact, it’s always best to keep a close eye on your four-legged companions, even if they are just going for a short stroll in the garden. An encounter with these animals that may invade your backyard can be dangerous for both parties involved.

There’s no way to keep these creatures away from your outdoor space forever, but if you spot one getting too close to your house, making loud noises will usually make them run off.
