6 Plant-Destroying Habits You Should Stop Repeating

6. It’s too cold

Like you and people in general, many houseplants are okay with a wide range of temperatures. But extremely low temperatures and frost are definitely not your cup of tea and it’s not theirs either. Is there someone who wants to lose tiny parts of their toes and fingers from frostbite? I don’t think so.

The moral of the story is that you should never leave your houseplants outside when the weather is getting colder and colder. They won’t survive, trust me on this one. Here’s something that might help you: if you’re feeling cold, chances are that your plants are too. Always keep them at a temperature that you feel okay with and they’ll be too.
