Outdated Home Trend: Shag Carpeting

We get it! Shag carpets feel AH-mazing under your feet. They take comfort to another level, mostly when stepped on. These carpets have a unique way of making people feel like they’re walking on clouds.

It’s one of the main reasons why many homeowners chose them in the past. But all that shag needs to do better when it comes to making your space look stylish. If you want a more modern aesthetic, just stick to low-pile carpets.

There are lots of other ways you can make your home look cozy. We won’t even get into all the bacteria those carpets hold in them!
