#6 Decorating just to check a box

It may just end up feeling like a chore if you are doing it alone and not adding anything fun to it. After all, decorating should be fun and not feel like something you have to do. So instead of scrambling to get everything decorated before friends and family come over, why not make it a tradition? Or even several smaller ones?

You can start with a day-long shopping trip to pick or make wreaths, or even go shopping for one or two new ornaments. Then, when you come back to the house, you can all decorate together with some carols and festive drinks. It is great to make traditions out of things like this and believe us, you will treasure decorating time since it’s spent with people near and dear to your heart!

This is what the holidays are about, right?
