Make sure we clean our oven and microwave regularly! (cont.)

Do not get us wrong; the cleaning habit we want to recommend to you is not to always clean the oven or microwave as soon as something spills over; that is a bit overestimating our willingness to do it. But rather, you should make a schedule for when you can clean them so that you do not have to deal with them for hours when you do a general cleaning.

When it comes to the oven, we have added it to our customary weekend cleaning, so we always make sure to give it at least a wipe-down if we have not used it that week. While the microwave, since it does not get as hot as the oven, gets cleaned more often. If we use it to heat up something for dinner, we make sure to wipe it down after we do the dishes that night.

That way, we keep them both in good condition, and we avoid anything that becomes too hard to clean!
