Celosia is a plume-shaped flower that resembles a fiery flame. The flowers are narrow and tall and almost look furry. You can choose from a wide variety of colors such as pink, purple, orange, yellow, and dark maroon.

This gorgeous flower is a warm-weather perennial or long-blooming annual that is easy to care for and often reseeds itself. Its flowers are quite large and plentiful, creating a stunning display along a section or walkway of a garden. It prefers direct sunlight and well-drained soil.

Here’s one surprising thing about Celosia: its young leaves are edible!
