Inkberry Bush

Inkberry comes from eastern North America, where you can see it around swamps and bogs. The evergreen shrub can easily reach around 5 to 8 feet in height. It is known to produce black berries in the fall if it has plants that grow near one another.

The shrubs usually need minimal pruning, but any kind of shaping can be easily done in the early spring, before the usual seasonal growth. When it comes to light, the Inkberry bush would rather prefer full sun, and maybe a little bit of shade. But luckily, the plant will feel great in medium to wet soil, which is perfect if you have this kind of soil in your garden.
