16 Ways to Make Your House Feel More Expensive

Use fresh flowers, plants, and greenery.

Here’s another classic tip: if you have plenty of empty corners around your home, fill them with house plants. All you have to do is make sure your plants are large enough to fill all that space you assigned them. A larger plant could look very high-end.

Even so, if the plant and pot aren’t properly scaled, the results won’t be as good as you hoped for. Also, if you are not a fan of keeping a lot of plants in your home, you can simply buy bouquets from the closest florist and arrange them all over the house. Another amazing trick is to stretch one bouquet and separate it into smaller ones. This way, you can sprinkle them around the house.

Keep things as clean as possible.

This tip is definitely free. We’ve all been in a hotel room and found a smudge or a hair and instantly became irritated. Well, it definitely doesn’t feel too good. So why would it be any different when it comes to your own home?

Besides, there’s really no point in spending thousands of dollars on furniture if you won’t keep your home clean. I know that doing chores is unpleasant, but there are many other ways you can make things easier for yourself. For instance, you might want to consider using a robot vacuum like this one instead of vacuuming. This is one of the best models you can find at a reasonable price!
