#3 Chimney alert!

A lot of our winged friends just love to make nests in hollow trees or other similar objects. This is why, if they cannot find anything of the sort, they will turn their attention towards your chimney. A clogged chimney will keep all of the smoke in your home, as well as all of the carbon monoxide, which can cause carbon monoxide poisoning and even death. What’s more, the nests are highly flammable due to the natural materials the birds use to make them, so they are a potential fire hazard if a spark goes up the flue.
