Concrete-look tile flooring

Concrete looks are coming back in style! Huge slabs of concrete tiles, concrete countertops, whatever you can think of, are back in style.

Even if warm, rustic looks are very prominent in 2022, there’s still a place for a more cool, detached look.

A rustic wood floor is a perfect choice for a family home, while a concrete-look tile has that awesome touch to a trendy apartment.

Even if this kind of aesthetic is much more specific, it’s still a relevant one. However, it probably won’t last forever, because it’s extremely opposite to any other warm, natural trend that you might see anywhere else.

Encaustic-look tile flooring

Encaustic tile first started as ornate hand-crafted flooring.

But as you can well imagine, this style was pretty expensive. These days, you might get the same sense of artistry and craftsmanship with encaustic-look tile. It is extremely beautifully detailed and way more affordable than the real thing.

“Encaustic decorative tiles have become way more desired. They can be found in both the traditional concrete materials and are now available in porcelain tiles that are thinner, durable, and less pricey.” as Donato Pompo, Ceramic Tile, and Stone Consultants, Inc. mentioned.

Terrazzo tile flooring

The terrazzo approach is a trend that first originated in commercial spaces.

You have probably seen by now some terrazzo tile flooring in various grocery stores and even shopping centers.

Well, if you liked it then, now you can bring it into your home! This look has become so popular, that it’s now trending. The original terrazzo tiles were initially made from recycled chips of marble, glass, and concrete, which made this unique speckled look.

You can easily get that terrazzo look in porcelain tile! And if you’re wondering if this trend will last, it’s still too soon to tell, as only now become more and more popular among young homeowners.
